The risk and the uncertainty always accompany the economic activity everywhere; the rising phenomena and those of recession occur under the sign of uncertainty and of risk. Unlike uncertainty whose cause can be difficult to identify, and thus, difficult to quantify, the economic risk refers to a specified item which can be estimated by a law of probability, and, therefore, can be quantified through the probability of producing a certain event. Analyzing the problem of risk one must take into account the two important concepts which determine it: the expected value, the most probable effect in situations that repeat several times, and its degree, measured by the dispersion of some possible effects if a situation repeats.Downloads
