About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The tourism journal aims to be an analytic instrument of presentation for both of the realities from the practice corresponding to the tourist's sector and of the theory rediscovered in the specialized literature of this field.

RDT provides a forum for academics and practitioners to contribute to the body of knowledge on hospitality. Taking into account the dynamic change in industry and consumers with ever more demanding expectations, RDT aims to develop the platform where new theoretical and practical topics are presented.

Our proposal is to reveal the tourism issue from a disciplinary point of view by presenting works with scientific and publishing quality that bring up theories, models and researches, but also analyses concentrated on some phenomena of interest from the tourism area, in a national, European and international perspective.

We will approach and discuss upon different aspects of interest both for the ones who consider the events of the tourism area from an observable perspective and a scientific analyze and for the ones directly concerned in the tourism sector.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published (online and in hard cover) twice a year, in June and December. For the issues published in June, the manuscripts must be submitted online until April the 1st and the ones for the number published in December, until 1st of October.

Sources of Support

The Faculty of Economics, Administration and Business was founded in 1990, with a single specialization, The Management of Commerce & Turism Firms, at that time. In the 35 years since its foundation the Faculty became more independent, constantly increased and strengthened.

Currently over 2500 students are studying in the 11 undergraduate programs and 10 master programs. Approximately 700 students benefit by the distance learning form, using the informatics platform of the University.

With superior study resources, with a well trained teaching staff and an outstanding IT infrastructure, our faculty has received national accreditation for most of the study programs it develops.
Every year we are pleased to welcome new generation of students wanting to achieve their personal goals, to be responsible European and global citizens and to be leaders in industry and government.
